Deal Or No Deal?

Have you seen this show? It's one of the most assinine things I have ever seen.

Anywho...

Just wanted to note Tony Blair on the defensive about the release of the sailors from Iran. Doesn't anyone recognize that this result makes everyone look good?

I used to sit in on Prime Minister's Questions (one of the great institutions of the UK Parliament), and Tony Blair was like a rock star in there. This was back in the days of William Hague as Shadow PM, and the battlefield was bloody, and hilarious.

I mention this because, in those early days of the new millenium, the BBC News would never have had a reason to question Blair's dealings behind the door of 10 Downing Street. They loved him! And now he's getting turned on the spit, slathered in speculation and cynicism just like every other Western leader these days.

It makes me wish for the idealistic ignorance of the Kennedy era, or else the purity of overtly-censored media.
